Southeast Banner War Information
GUARDS,
KNIGHTS, SQUIRES! Prepare for Battle! The Great Kingdom of York asks all of its
members and all members Empire wide. Big and
small, young and old. From alchemists, bards and artisans to Archers, Infantry
and siege weaponeers. Put down your plow and shear!
Pick up your Bow, sword and quill! Your liege has great need of you! So Pray
attend and pay heed to these Marching orders.
Date: May 24th, 25th
Time: Set up From 2pm Friday the 23th till leaving the morning of the 28th if
needed. War on Saturday and Sunday Only
Place:
Quiet Waters Park
in Deerfield Beach, Florida
The site will be open at 2:00p.m. on Friday. Please come and set your pavilions
up Friday night if possible. That way you will not have to get here so early on
Saturday morning. Opening court will begin PROMPTLY at 10:00a.m. Do not arrive
at 10:00 and ask us to wait on you so that you may set up your encampment.
Sign-ins will begin at 9:00a.m. on Saturday morning. A rolls person
and a steward will be available beginning at 9:00.
War Site Fees: $8.00 per person
Park Entrance Fee: $1.50 per
person
Overnight Camping Fees: $35.00 per night per site up to 4 people per
site. (These are
mundane fees and separate from the War Site Fees)
Scenarios and Tourneys (to include Archery and Arts): TBA as they are
brought forth by the Imperial Crowns and Their Ministers.
Feasting: There will be NO Imperial or Kingdom scheduled feasts of any
kind at this War. That does not mean estates, groups, or like minded people can
not make ready plans of their own. There are several places to acquire goods of
all sorts close by and are listed below. As you see we are trying very hard to
keep costs down for our populace and for all our Empire members.
The autocrats would like to make this a "photo op" war, so bring your pavilion,
banners, flags and pageantry. Dust off those boots or polish those sabatons,
cover those coolers and please refrain from smoking non period tobacco. Pipes
and cigars (yes cigars are period) are welcomed. Use period drinking vessels
please as well.
